Based just outside Oxford and operating in the Home Counties and London, the company has a healthy order book and is looking to recruit talented individuals to join its team.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Fire/Security Engineer to work in London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will be installing, commissioning and maintaining Fire Alarm systems in prestigious residential properties and commercial premises.

Hours: 42.5 hours + On Call Rota 1 in 4 with a £90.00 retainer (out of hours Monday to Saturday time & half & Sunday & Bank holidays double)

Annual Leave: 32 days (inc 8 bank holidays)

Job Requirements
• The successful candidate will be experienced in installing and maintaining Fire Alarm & security systems in
prestigious residential properties and commercial premises.
o 5 years’ Fire experience is preferred, and some security knowledge would be ideal
o A working knowledge of the following products:
▪ Fire: C-Tec, Advanced, Kentec, Hochiki, Apollo, Morley, VESDA, Wagner
▪ Security: Honeywell, Texecom, Paxton, Salto, Dahua, Hikvision

Qualifications sought
• A full UK driving licence
• SSS-trained (preferred but not essential)
• ECS card (preferred but can be supplied)
Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS and enhanced security checks
(BS7858).

Position requires being part of an “On call rota

Key skills required:
• A good understanding of the current Fire & Security system regulations and legislations.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience installing and maintaining Fire systems
• 1-year experience installing and maintaining Security systems would be advantageous
• A working knowledge of the following products:
o Fire: C-Tec, Advanced, Kentec, Hochiki, Apollo, Morley, Gent, VESDA, Wagner
o It would also be good but not essential to have a knowledge of the following security
products: Galaxy, Texecom, Visonic, Scantronic and Castle
• A full UK driving licence
• SSS trained, preferred but not essential
• ECS card, preferred but can be supplied
• Excellent client communication skills
• Strong time management & organisational skills
• Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
